Thyme essential oil: which is it?

This is probably the best known and most common. Thymol is the active compound. It is a powerful anti-infectious essential oil of both antibacterial, antiviral, and antiparasitic. She employment for infectious respiratory diseases such as chronic bronchitis or sinusitis. You can also use it for general fatigue.

This is a very powerful essential oil for adults because of the presence of phenols.

Some recipes with essential oil of thyme thymol

Bronchitis

  • 1 drop thyme thymol
  • 1 drop of cypress

On a neutral tablet, 4 times a day

Mental fatigue

If you are still sick, here is a recipe that might interest you:

  • 1 drop of essential oil of thyme thymol
  • 1 drop of essential oil of Rosemary cineole

On a neutral tablet 3 times a day.

Angina

On a neutral tablet, 3 times daily for 7 days.

For a child, prefer the essential oil of thyme linalool.

The essential oil of thyme linalool

Its active ingredient is linalool and it is a gentle anti-infectious essential oils with antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. You can use it for infections of the bronchi and lungs in children such as bronchitis and nasopharyngitis.

It is easier to use than the essential oil of thyme thymol.

Nasopharyngitis children

  • 1 drop of essential oil of thyme linalool
  • 1 drop of ravensare

On a neutral tablet 3 times a day

Children’s Cough

  • 1 drop of linalol Thyme
  • 1 drop of cypress

On a neutral tablet 3 times a day.

Acne

  • 1 drop of essential oil of thyme linalool
  • 1 drop of essential oil of lavender

Pursuant morning and evening on a cotton swab
